Surprised by the Voice of God

 

I used to ask myself the question, whether God still wants to speak to us today? I used to believe that God used to speak to the prophets and apostles in the past, but did not know whether God still wanted a living two-way relationship with me today! I wanted to know, whether God still wants to speak to us today?

 

On 6 May 2001, while I was worshiping in church, I heard God speak in my spirit, speaking from the depth of my being, coming out of my belly and said to me: “In 3 days you will get a job and before the end of the month you will start working!”

 

Two days later, On 8 May 2001, while driving on the N1 highway, towards Atterbury off-ramp, a car passed me, while I was praying in tongues. Then the Holy Spirit said to me: “That guy in that car is going to give you a job!”

 

On 9 May 2001, I was on my way to an interview as a Chemical Engineer. After the interview, while praying in tongues, the Holy Spirit said to me: “Now pray in tongues and think what you are saying!” Heard the interpretation of the tongue: “Yahshua / Jesus, write your name in heaven that Pretoria can know Jesus is God!” The Power of God, like fire, came upon me and my body shook under the power.

 

30 Minutes later, the Holy Spirit, drawing my attention, again said to me: “Look up!” As I looked up a sign appeared in the heavens of a large “J”! Then I fell on my knees and said go away from me I am a sinful man. Then the Voice again said to me: “Look up!” The sign of the “J” turned supernaturally. Then a pedestal appeared with a man standing upon the “J” having His right hand out to me and said in my spirit to me: “Come follow Me and I will make you a fisher of men! I will make My eyes your eyes that you may see what I see. I will put words in your mouth and I will give you the ‘Key’, which is Love!” As I heard these things from the Lord signs appeared confirming what I heard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

While I looked a large sign of a cobra, ready to strike appeared in the sky. Then this sign changed and became the head of a beast with two horns and then this sign changed again and became a sign of dragon, which was blowing fire towards the One standing on the pedestal, which was standing upon the “J” The Holy Spirit said to me: “Look at me! He will always be there to try and deceive. But you must follow me and Me alone. No church, no pastor, no person, but Me and Me alone!” Then a sign of a cloud blowing wind towards the dragon appeared and the word of God came to me, saying: “I will blow him away with the breath of my nostrils and the glory of My coming!”

 

Then He said to me: “I will send you to all nations, in this generation, before the end comes! And you will call down fire on this earth before the end comes. And this will be the sign that I have spoken to you: “You will meet Me on this mountain!”” As I drove home the entire sky was filled with clouds looking like fire falling from the sky.

 

God, in His wisdom and predestined plan, has called each of the prophets in the Old Testament, by appearing to them and speaking to them. Many times in the Old Testament the prophets would say the Word of the Lord 'came' to them.

 

In the Old Testament, God promised through the prophets: "As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart], and My words, which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the mouths of your children's children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever." (Isa 59:21) [Jer. 31:33; Rom. 11:26-27; Gal. 3:29; Heb. 12:22-24]

 

This promise was fulfilled in the New Testament when the Holy Spirit was poured out 10 days after the ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven, upon the 120 disciples in the upper room on the day of Pentecost. The apostles Peter confirmed that this was the fulfillment of the words of the prophets, saying: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams. 18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants, in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God's kingdom]. 19 And I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath, blood and fire and smoking vapor; 20  The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the obvious day of the Lord comes--that great and notable and conspicuous and renowned [day]. 21 And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord--Christ] shall be saved." (Act 2:17-21 Ampl) [Joel 2:28-32] 
  

Since that time I have had a great passion for helping the church of Jesus Christ to hear the Voice of God for themselves.
