Prepare the way before the LORD

Isa 40:1-5 COMFORT, COMFORT My people, says your God. 2 Speak tenderly to the heart of Jerusalem, and cry to her that her time of service and her warfare are ended, that [her punishment is accepted and] her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received [punishment] from the Lord's hand double for all her sins. 3 A voice of one who cries: Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord [clear away the obstacles]; make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God! [Mark 1:3.] 4 Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough places a plain. 5 And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it. [Luke 3:5, 6.]

  • God has called us to prepare the way before Him

  • Every valley must be filled in

  • Every mountain must be made low

  • The crooked must be made strait and level

  • THEN the Glory of God will be revealed

Personal Experience of the Voice of God

Sign in the Heaven - The Key

On the May 9, 2001: “I will give you the Key which is …..? (Love / Humility)

The Light Beam from heaven

  • One the January 9, 2004. That night as I put my head on the cushion I saw a vision: “I saw a yellow light beam coming out of heaven.

  • One week later, after coming from a cell meeting I went to a park to pray. I asked the Lord to allow me to enter into deeper relationship with Him. I was in His presence with my hands lifted up. I experienced His presence and pains appeared over my entire body. I asked the Lord what it was and wanted to experience more of Him. By faith I took a prophetic step towards God. Suddenly…

  • Something like a wall of fire, like a beam of light fell around me. I was amazed at the awesome presence of God. This is the Glory of God! God said: No, this is My Love!” Again I said: “This is the power of God!” And again God said: “No, this is all the aspects of My Love!”

  • Another two years later, in the year of 2006, I only started to realize what it was? Flowing in His Love

Knowing God

The Definition of 'Knowing'

Gen 3:5 For

Knowing Jesus’ Voice

Heb 1:1

Knowing God’s Voice

John 10:3-5 The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out. 4 When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 They will never [on any account] follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call.

  • We must learn to listen to Jesus’ Voice

  • If we know Jesus we will also know His Voice

  • We will not listen to a stranger’s voice

Recognizing God’s Voice

John 10:14-16 I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me. 15 Even as [truly as] the Father knows Me and I also know the Father--and I am giving My [very own] life and laying it down on behalf of the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep [beside these] that are not of this fold. I must bring and impel those also; and they will listen to My voice and heed My call, and so there will be [they will become] one flock under one Shepherd. [Ezek. 34:23.]

  • We must be able to recognise the Voice of God

  • To know someone: “Adam knew Eve”

  • The greatest deed of intimacy between beings

Knowing Jesus

Doing the Will of the Father

Matt 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? 23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.]

  • Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven,

    • Many call Jesus Lord, but do not really like what He ask us to do or think it is hard

    • Many are only religious and do religious acts and actually pretend to know Jesus

    • but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

      • What is God’s will?

        • What the will of God is not:

          • It is not to only mentally believe the Word of God, which is dead religion

          • It is not to perfectly keep all the commands of the perfect Law of God

          • It is not to please God by living a perfect life

          • It is not to try and win God’s favor by your great relationship with God of you great faith in God’s power

        • What the will of God is:

          • To please God by faith and trust in Him and in His Word and promises

          • To unconditionally accept that which God, in His love has provided and promised

          • To have a living two way love relationship with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

          • To consistently abide / live and habitually practice in the character, words and lifestyle of Jesus Christ

      • How do I DO the will of God?

        • We can do the will of God when we believe and practice the Word of God

  • Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord,

    • Who say calls Jesus Lord? Those who believe in Jesus and claim to be Christians

    • have we not prophesied in Your name

    • and driven out demons in Your name

    • and done many mighty works in Your name?

      • Signs and wonders are NOT a sign of a relationship with Jesus Christ

      • All Charismatics do not necessarily get saved

      • All grace preachers do not necessarily get saved

  • And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me,

    • The word know implies intimacy in the deepest sense between beings, as was written: Gen 4:1  AND ADAM knew Eve as his wife, and she became pregnant and bore Cain…

      • Jesus desires an intimate relationship with us

      • To know Jesus is to know God and is to be one with Him

    • you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. [Ps. 6:8.]

      • Anything else in its core and in its root is selfish and wicked – man trusting in themselves

Knowing Jesus Christ is Eternal Life

John 17:3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.

  • How can we know the Voice of God?

  • By knowing Jesus Christ – We have never seen or met Jesus like the first disciples did how can we know Jesus

Knowing the Spirit of God

Knowing the Spirit of Truth

John 14:16-17 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever. 17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.

  • The Holy Spirit is like Jesus

The Spirit will teach you

John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

  • The Holy Spirit will teach us about Jesus Christ

  • The Spirit will remind you of all that Jesus was and taught – the Character and nature of God

  • The Spirit is the invisible form of the visible form of Jesus Christ

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

  • The Fruits of the Holy Spirit is the characteristics of the Holy Spirit

  • When we live by the Spirit these of the fruits will naturally be produced in our lives – We must NOT focus on the fruit but on the root of the tree – The Spirit of God

Types of Love

  • What is Love? 5 Types of Love

  • Epithumia – A desire/ need good or bad a longing

  • Phileo – A conditional Love/brotherly Love - I call you friends! - Do you Love Me?

  • Storge – Companionship - Fellowship – Will I share with Him? - Trust

  • Eros – Romantic / Emotional or Passionate / Zeal – can not create it

  • Agape - Constant & Unchanging Unconditional Love – Unselfish – 1 Cor 13:8 Type

The Character of Love

1Cor 13:4-8 Love endures long (long suffering) and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. 5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride) (Humility); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.(self control) Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. 6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail (Joyfulness). 7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. 8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].

  • The Characteristics of Love is the Fruits of the Holy Spirit

  • These are all the aspects of God’s Love?

The Bond of Perfectness

The Perfect Harmony of Love

Col 3:14-15 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]. 15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

  • Love binds all everything is complete harmony

  • Peace quiets our souls to hear God’s Voice

True Spiritual Completeness and Maturity

1Cor 13:10-12 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. 12 For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God].

  • The Perfect will replace the imperfect

  • The Complete will replace the incomplete

  • The Mature will replace the immature

  • The poor reflection will become a reality

Faith through the Love of God

Gal 5:6 For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.

  • Our Faith must be activated by the Love of God

  • Seeing and Hearing God’s Voice – See picture

Jacob’s Ladder

2Pet 1:5-10 For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence), 6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety), 7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love. 8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 9 For whoever lacks these qualities is blind, [spiritually] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Because of this, brethren, be all the more solicitous and eager to make sure (to ratify, to strengthen, to make steadfast) your calling and election; for if you do this, you will never stumble or fall.

  • Faith – Virtue – Knowledge – Self-control – Steadfastness – Godliness – brotherly Love – Love

  • Love Never fails – be filled with them then you will bear fruit and be effective spiritually

A War for our Souls

1Pet 2:11 Beloved, I implore you as aliens and strangers and exiles [in this world] to abstain from the sensual urges (the evil desires, the passions of the flesh, your lower nature) that wage war against the soul.

  • There is always a war on the inside of us going on

  • The War is not for the spirit, but for the soul – emotions / will / intellect

  • We must decide to obey the sinful nature or the character of Jesus Christ

The Weapons of Spiritual warfare

2Cor 6:410 But we commend ourselves in every way as [true] servants of God: through great endurance, in tribulation and suffering, in hardships and privations, in sore straits and calamities, 5 In beatings, imprisonments, riots, labours, sleepless watching, hunger; 6 By innocence and purity, knowledge and spiritual insight, longsuffering and patience, kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love; 7 By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand [to attack] and for the left hand [to defend]; 8 Amid honour and dishonour; in defaming and evil report and in praise and good report. [We are branded] as deceivers (impostors), and [yet vindicated as] truthful and honest. 9 [We are treated] as unknown and ignored [by the world], and [yet we are] well-known and recognized [by God and His people]; as dying, and yet here we are alive; as chastened by suffering and [yet] not killed; 10 As grieved and mourning, yet [we are] always rejoicing; as poor [ourselves, yet] bestowing riches on many; as having nothing, and [yet in reality] possessing all things.

  • Paul is speaking about finding that perfect position or poise in Jesus Christ

  • The Weapons of Righteousness = The Spiritual armour of God

  • In the right hand – to attack & In the left hand to defend

Our Position in Christ Jesus

The doctrine of Righteousness

Heb 5:11-14 Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even slothful in achieving spiritual insight]. 12 For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God's Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food. 13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! 14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.

  • We have become dull and insensitive in the spirit

  • We must move forward from the first principles

  • We must leave the elementary teachings behind

  • Learn to understand with the heart the teaching about righteousness (Practical)

Two types of Righteousness

Php 3:7-10 But whatever former things I had that might have been gains to me, I have come to consider as [one combined] loss for Christ's sake. 8 Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One), 9 And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law's demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith. 10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

  • What do you trust in to make you more acceptable before God?

  • What is too important to give up knowing and becoming like and obeying Jesus’ words?

  • Self-righteousness comes from my effort

  • God’s righteousness comes by believing Jesus paid the price – I cannot earn my righteousness

  • Righteousness is to be in a right and harmonious relationship with God

  • The Most valuable goal to achieve on earth to know Jesus Christ intimately

  • Then the same power will flow out of our lives

Righteousness promised

Imputed Righteousness promised

Psa 32:1-2 [A Psalm of David.] A skilful song, or a didactic or reflective poem. BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man to whom the Lord imputes no iniquity and in whose spirit there is no deceit. [Rom. 4:7, 8.]

  • We are that blessed generation who’s sins are covered

  • Those who accept this righteousness has no more deceit in their spirits (without blame)

Righteousness from God’s Persective

Psa 103:7-12 He made known His ways [of righteousness and justice] to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. 8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness. [James 5:11.] 9 He will not always chide or be contending, neither will He keep His anger forever or hold a grudge. 10 He has not dealt with us after our sins nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great are His mercy and loving-kindness toward those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him. 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

  • God has made His ways know to us – Righteousness and Justice

  • God is a gracious and merciful God – He is not full of anger and rage, holding so kind of grudge

  • God has not treated us as we deserve

  • God want us to revere, respect and honour Him

Righteousness fulfilled

Righteousness by Faith

Rom 3:20-28 For no person will be justified (made righteous, acquitted, and judged acceptable) in His sight by observing the works prescribed by the Law. For [the real function of] the Law is to make men recognize and be conscious of sin [not mere perception, but an acquaintance with sin which works toward repentance, faith, and holy character]. 21 But now the righteousness of God has been revealed independently and altogether apart from the Law, although actually it is attested by the Law and the Prophets, 22 Namely, the righteousness of God which comes by believing with personal trust and confident reliance on Jesus Christ (the Messiah). [And it is meant] for all who believe. For there is no distinction, 23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honour and glory which God bestows and receives. 24 [All] are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favour and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, 25 Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment. 26 It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus. 27 Then what becomes of [our] pride and [our] boasting? It is excluded (banished, ruled out entirely). On what principle? [On the principle] of doing good deeds? No, but on the principle of faith. 28 For we hold that a man is justified and made upright by faith independent of and distinctly apart from good deeds (works of the Law). [The observance of the Law has nothing to do with justification.]

  • We cannot by good or hard works / performance attain salvation

  • God’s Righteousness makes us acceptable in God’s sight

  • We were justified – Just as if I’d never sinned

  • We must trust God’s promise of forgiveness

  • We have all sinned and can’t achieve God’s grace anymore

  • Jesus became the mercy seat when His blood dripped on the east side of the ark of the covenant (The Discovery of the Temple level)

  • Self-righteousness is rooted in pride

  • Good deeds vs. Faith

  • Self effort vs. Trust

The Perfect State of Righteousness

Rom 5:1-2 THEREFORE, SINCE we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). :2 Through Him also we have [our] access (entrance, introduction) by faith into this grace (state of God's favour) in which we [firmly and safely] stand. And let us rejoice and exult in our hope of experiencing and enjoying the glory of God.

  • We are now at peace with God and are in a state of peace when ever we come to God

  • Now we can freely experience the Glory of God

Righteousness acceptable to God

Rom 14:17-18 [After all] the kingdom of God is not a matter of [getting the] food and drink [one likes], but instead it is righteousness (that state which makes a person acceptable to God) and [heart] peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 He who serves Christ in this way is acceptable and pleasing to God and is approved by men.

  • God is pleased when we trust in His Righteousness

  • When we know this we have true peace and joy coming from the Holy Spirit

True Holiness & Godliness

Rom 6:18-19 And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action). 19 I am speaking in familiar human terms because of your natural limitations. For as you yielded your bodily members [and faculties] as servants to impurity and ever increasing lawlessness, so now yield your bodily members [and faculties] once for all as servants to righteousness (right being and doing) [which leads] to sanctification.

  • When we understand God’s gift of Righteousness we will be led to a holy life being set apart for God

  • Righteousness lead us to Holiness

  • Holiness leads to Godliness

The Whirlwind

Psa 85:10-13 Mercy and loving-kindness and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. 11 Truth shall spring up from the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven. 12 Yes, the Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase. 13 Righteousness shall go before Him and shall make His footsteps a way in which to walk.

  • Sitting in the eye of the whirlwind

  • Four winds twirling together

  • All the sides of My Love

  • The Perfect Poise or balance in Christ Jesus

God’s Love or Deliverance

Psa 57:3 He will send from heaven and save me from the slanders and reproaches of him who would trample me down or swallow me up, and He will put him to shame. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! God will send forth His mercy and loving-kindness and His truth and faithfulness.

  • The Truth of God’s Love and faithfulness will:

  • Prevent the slander / criticism of others to make us fall

  • Prevent us from falling into shame / insignificance

  • God’s Love will protect against being swallowed up by pride

God’s Love a Strong Tower

Ps 59 – A War against the enemies of our soul with God’s strength – His love and faithfulness being our strong tower and hope in time of need

God’s Love a Shield

Psa 32:10-11 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on the Lord shall be compassed about with mercy and with loving-kindness. 11 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you who are upright and in right standing with Him]; shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

  • God’s Unconditional Love surrounds or compasses those who trust in Him

  • God’s Love becomes a shield of protection

  • God’s Love becomes a weapon of war

The Foundation of God’s Throne

Psa 89:13-16 You have a mighty arm; strong is Your hand, Your right hand is soaring high. 14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face. 15 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are the people who know the joyful sound [who understand and appreciate the spiritual blessings symbolized by the feasts]; they walk, O Lord, in the light and favour of Your countenance! 16 In Your name they rejoice all the day, and in Your righteousness they are exalted.

  • Righteousness is the very foundation of the throne of God

  • The Throne of God is built on perfection – God is light and in Him there in NO darkness

  • But God is also loving and kind and full of mercy to the weak and the needy

God’s Love for us

The Anchor of Our Souls

Heb 6:19 [Now] we have this [hope] as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it--a hope] that reaches farther and enters into [the very certainty of the Presence] within the veil, [Lev. 16:2.]

  • Those who trust in God is anchored and constant in faith

  • Nothing can move them or deter them from course

Nothing can separate from God’s Love

Rom 8:35-38 Who shall ever separate us from Christ's love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? 36 Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter. [Ps. 44:22.] 37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, 39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • We do not need to be afraid of anything that come to steal our hope and joy in Jesus

  • What do you allow to separate you from the Love of God?

  • God’s Love is the surpassing victory for those who trust in Him

The Most Holy Place

Eph 3:16-21 May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality]. 17 May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, 18 That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; 19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! 20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

  • The Glory and the Power of God is rooted in His Love – The Most Holy Place – Breadth/Length/Height

  • God desires for us to experience His Love.

  • It is not only head knowledge

The Water of Life

John 15:4-12 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. 6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honoured and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. 9 I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me]. 10 If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love. 11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing. 12 This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.

  • To dwell in Jesus is to live in His Love

  • We must live and obey the teachings of Jesus
