INTRODUCTION

The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and showed me how great restoration of many biblical truths are taking place. But then the Lord, in His wisdom, said to me: "Once they think they have restored the truth and they want to put the capstone stone in place, or the cherry on the cake, they will find out that the foundation has not been properly laid!"

How can this be true, you might wonder? Laying an excellent foundation has been designed to reveal the hidden mystery of Christ, which has been lost through a mixture of paganism that was mixed with Christianisty since 323 AD.

Through the following picture, which represents the restoration that has been taking place, I tried to explain what the Holy Spirit had revealed to me regards the restoration process that has been taking place!

THE TRUE FOUNDATION OF JESUS CHRIST

1Cor 3:10 - 15 According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a skillful architect and master builder I laid [the] foundation, and now another [man] is building upon it. But let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it, 11  For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 12 But if anyone builds upon the Foundation, whether it be with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. 14 If the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test], he will get his reward. 15 But if any person's work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire. [Job 23:10]

  • According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me,

    • like a skillful architect and master builder

      • God chose Paul for He knew Paul would be a skilful and master builder

      • Dec 2014 – I said: “I would have to start a church, which teaches what God had shown me in the Word of God!”

      • One week later, I said: “God is looking for a harvester that will be able to raise up and take the harvest from the land much faster!”

      • I laid [the] foundation,

        • Paul wrote most of the NT – He laid an excellent Foundation

        • God’s Word will NOT change for any man

        • We must submit to the Word of God

      • and now another [man] is building upon it.

    • But

      • let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it

        • We will not only be judged by what we build upon, but also with what we have built

        • We must be careful to make sure we have build correctly

    • For

      • no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid,

        • which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

          • What is the true foundation? Jesus Christ!

    • But

      • if anyone builds upon the Foundation,

        • whether it be with gold,

        • silver,

        • precious stones,

        • wood, hay, straw,

          • What have you been building with?

            • Gold / Silver / Costly Stone – Will NOT burn

            • Wood / Hay / Straw – Will burn

      • The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is);

    • for

      • the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it

        • We will all be judged on the day Jesus Christ is revealed in the heavens – The second coming

    • because

      • it will be revealed with fire – everybody’s work will be tested

        • and the fire will test and critically appraise

          • Every time we are tested and we fail our work burns up

          • The character and worth of the work each person has done.

            • What is the real character of your work?

              • Love / Selfishness

              • Do you actually react as the Word of God expects you to react?

      • If – There is a prerequisite for everybody

        • the work which any person has built on this Foundation [any product of his efforts whatever] survives [this test],

  • Our work WILL be tested by fire of tests

    • If they survive we have built well

    • If they give in under the pressure they will burn up

      • he will get his reward

        • There will be judgment for all believers – Bema judgement!

        • There is great reward for believing and obeying the Word of God

        • There is both immediate rewards and the eternal rewards

  • But if

    • any person's work is burned up [under the test],

    • he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward],

      • though he himself will be saved

        • Not everybody will be rewarded with rulership – Kings and Priest of our God

        • They will still be saved, but get no reward – They will be cast into outer darkness

    • but

      • only as [one who has passed] through fire. [Job 23:10]

        • They will just be saved from hell

THE EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS – 4/ 5 FOLD MINISTRY

Eph 4:10 - 16 He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest). 11 And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers. 12  His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church), 13 [That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him. 14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead. 15 Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 16  For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

  • He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens,

  • that

    • He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest).

      • Jesus ascended to fill the entire heavens with Himself

      • Who fills the heavens with Himself? God!!!

    • And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us]

      • The gifts Jesus gave men was people who would help His people to grow up spiritually

        • some to be apostles (special messengers),

        • some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders),

        • some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries),

        • some pastors (shepherds of His flock)

        • and teachers.

    • His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people),

      • What does God truly expect from every Christian?

      • God expects perfection – This not humanly possible – Only with God it is possible

      • [that they should do] the work of ministering

        • toward building up Christ's body (the church),

          • The Fivefold has one main purpose to build up the people (the church of Jesus Christ to perfection and full maturity

          • They are called to encourage or to spur you on to greater heights in Christ

      • [That it might develop]

    • until – God says this growing process must NOT stop until!!!

      • we all attain oneness in the faith and

        • All must have the same faith and understanding of Jesus Christ – the Son of God

      • in the comprehension of the [full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God

        • God wants us to know the Son of God - Jesus Christ in His fullness

      • that

        • [we might arrive] at really mature manhood

          • Not just to gain knowledge,

          • but until we ALL arrive at the same maturity of Christ

        • (the completeness of personality – We must become LIKE the Son of God - Jesus Christ

        • which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection),

          • Nothing less – than the standard height – we must be able to be like Him in every way and do what He had done in every way

        • the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

          • That we become like Jesus in EVERY WAY – Being true sons of God

        • So then,

          • we may no longer be children,

            • tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching

            • and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine,

            • [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men,

            • [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery

            • in inventing errors to mislead.

          • Rather,

            • let our lives lovingly express truth

              • [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly].

              • Enfolded in love,

                • God wants us to become love in every way

            • let us grow up

              • in every way and

              • in all things

                • into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

    • For because of Him

      • the whole body (the church, in all its various parts),

        • closely joined and firmly knit together

          • by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied,

        • when each part [with power adapted to its need]

          • The Body does have certain parts that are more naturally prone to operate in certain characteristics and gifts of Jesus Christ

          • But God wants EVERYBODY to grow up and come to ALL the fullness of ALL the character and nature of God and operate and have the same power as Jesus did

          • is working properly [in all its functions],

            • grows to full maturity,

              • building itself up in love

              • The greatest aim in growing up is to be filled with the LOVE of God

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL

Rom 1:15 - 17 So, for my part, I am willing and eagerly ready to preach the Gospel to you also who are in Rome. 16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, 17  For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. [Hab. 2:4]

  • So, for my part, I am willing and eagerly ready to preach the Gospel to you also who are in Rome.

    • What do you understand by the gospel?

    • What does the bible say about the gospel?

  • For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ,

    • for it is God's power

      • Through the Gospel great power is released

      • working unto salvation

        • What is salvation?

        • Hebrew for salvation = Complete salvation – Spirit / soul / body

        • [for deliverance from eternal death]

          • Spirit Salvation is be saved from hell / eternal damnation

          • BUT it is much more!!!

            • Soul Salvation - Total deliverance and peace with God
            • Body Salvation - Total divine bodily health - free from sickness and disease
          • to everyone who believes

            • How do one truly believe?

              • with a personal trust

              • and a confident surrender

              • and firm reliance,

                • to the Jew first and also to the Greek,

    • For in the Gospel

      • a righteousness

        • which God ascribes is revealed,

          • Paul speaks about the righteousness from God, which is revealed in the gospel

          • What is righteousness?

          • In what way can I get righteousness from God?

          • The Book of Romans was written to explain the power of righteousness from God

        • both springing from faith

        • and leading to faith

          • From faith to faith

          • Begins with faith and end with faith

          • Must never start to rely on my own works or righteousness

        • [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith].

          • The gospel’s power is released through faith

      • As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith. [Hab. 2:4]

        • This gospel was prophesied about in the Old Testament

TRUE SPIRITUAL MATURITY

Heb 5:12 - 14  For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others, you actually need someone to teach you over again the very first principles of God's Word. You have come to need milk, not solid food. 13 For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! 14  But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.

  • For even though by this time you ought to be teaching others,

    • God expects us to be teaching others the gospel – Making disciples of Jesus Christ

  • you actually need someone to teach you over again

    • the very first principles of God's Word

      • God’s word has principles

      • You have come to need milk, not solid food.

        • There are basic principals in the Word – which is milk

        •  There are advanced principals in the Word – which is for the mature – solid food

        • Are you still living on milk or solid food? How do I know?

    • For

      • everyone who continues to feed on milk

        • We must not always continue to live on milk

        • The temple had three stages (Outer court / Holy / Most Holy) and the implements in each was different

        • is obviously inexperienced and unskilled

          • in the doctrine of righteousness

            • What is the doctrine of righteousness?

            • We must understand this doctrine before we can grow up into maturity spiritually

          • (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action),

            • The purpose of this doctrine is to help us to come in harmony with God

      • for

        • he is a mere infant

          • [not able to talk yet]!

          • Infants can’t talk – When you are born again you are like a spiritual baby

          • Babies must learn to talk and walk in Christ Jesus

            • Talk - To hear the voice of God (Two-way relationship with God)

            • Walk – To live like Jesus did (Do what Jesus did / Operate in the same authority and power)

      • But solid food is for full-grown men,

      • for those

        • whose senses and mental faculties

          • What are your senses? We have 5 senses – Taste / Feel / Smell / See / Hear

          • These are spiritual senses – Spiritual eyes / ears / perception / smell / hearing

          • Jesus sensed/perceived in Himself – The gift of discernment and the discerning of spirits (both good & evil)

          • are trained

            • Training takes time and repetition

            • Training needs a Trainer

              • The Holy Spirit

              • 5 Fold ministry

              • One another

              • Sharing your faith

              • Obeying and Practicing the Word

          • by practice

            • We must obey and do the Word of God

            • Not just listen to it – We must become the Word of God

            • to discriminate

              • We must grow up in our ability to spiritually be able to discern

              • Must grow the discerning of the will of God

              • Must learn to hear the Voice of God for our lives

              • Must learn to have the wisdom of God for every situation

              • and distinguish between

                • what is morally good and noble

                • and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.

                • We must learn to distinguish the perfect will of God

                • (Php 2:12-13, Rom 12:2)

MAKING DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST

After Jesus had come to show and open the way He told His disciples:

Mat 28:19 – 20 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

  • Go then and make disciples of all the nations,

    • After Jesus had taught and showed His disciples His lifestyle of love and how to make disciples He commanded them to go and do the same

    • Every believer who has accepted Jesus Christ as His Lord and truly understand God’s love for them will go out and go and make disciples

    • Sharing your faith with people is NOT making disciples

    • Making disciples is a process of walking a path of love with someone and help them to grow in the basics of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ

    •

  • baptizing them

    • a person must first accept the call to follow Jesus Christ as His disciple / apprentice before they can be baptized

    • Baptism the seal that is put on to the commitment of a person who has committed to living the life of being a disciple of Jesus Christ

    • into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

      • The word Name used in this context refers to the authority of a person

      • The word name does not refer to a physical name of person

      • Jesus came in His father’s Name

      • The Holy Spirit reveals everything Jesus taught

  • teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you,

    • After baptism, a disciple continue to be taught HOW to follow and be like Jesus Christ

    • Jesus came to be an example to those who wanted to follow Him

    • Jesus came to show how to live life in the best and most effective possible way

    • Jesus taught by example AND teaching, NOT theoretical teaching only

    • Those who want to follow Jesus and be His disciples, will keep/observe / practice what Jesus taught

    • A disciple cannot do his own thing but must follow his Master

  • and behold, I am with you all the days

    • Jesus promised that although He will leave us physically, He will be with us in the Spirit

    • Jesus will be with us as the Holy Spirit / The Spirit of God

    • The Holy Spirit will help us and lead us into all truth

    • (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion),

    • to the [very] close and consummation of the age.

      • The process of making disciples, baptizing them and teaching them will not stop until Jesus returns

  • Amen (so let it be).

CHRISTIANITY AS A LIFESTYLE

In order to teach and help equiip you to make disciples of Jesus Christ we have divided practical bible studies into two parts:
