THE RETURN of the church to THE FEAR OF THE LORD
START or STEAL – Correctly Connecting Two Points Together
One of the believers in our house church had a dream last week after the Sunday house church discussion! Through her dream, the Holy Spirit warns and confirmed something so amazing that confirms what Wayne sent us! I want to try and share so that we could all pray about it and learn from Him - our Lord and Wonderful Counselor - The Holy Spirit - who leads us into ALL TRUTH!
In her dream, she showed her new car! She was shown its dashboard and some of its interior! The car she was shown was the same car we hired to drive around with when we went down the kickstart in Capetown! Suddenly she saw two men who came somehow stole the car and drove off with it! In her dream she was shown HOW the were able to start the car and steal it! They took two wires – a green wire and a red wire and made a short and unlocked the car. After this, they were able to drive off with the car! She was very disappointed that her car was stolen!
God speaks to us through dreams in very simple and yet very profound way and we must pray and ask God for the interpretation of those dreams He gives us!
When I was told the dream I immediately started getting the interpretation of the dream. Over many years the Holy Spirit has taught me and has warned and led me through dreams. I have also learned to pay close attention to other people’s dream, learning and listening to what the Spirit is saying to the churches!
A car in a dream represents your ministry and God’s specific plan and purpose for your life. The new car represents what she learned and have been learning from Torben and the revelation Jesus has given him! The fact that was shown the inside of the car and its dashboard represents the front/leadership of those who operate in this ministry! She has even also started reading two of the books Torben has written regards his revelation in the Word of God!
The two wires are very interesting! The Holy Spirit is so awesome in how He reveals the truth, as was written: “…If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make Myself known to him in a vision and speak to him in a dream.” And God said that with Moses He: “…speak mouth to mouth [directly], clearly and not in dark speeches;…”(Num 12:6 & 8) Dark speech is a symbolic language of the Spirit, which is a parable, through which, God reveals the truth to us and leads us by the Spirit when we can hear His Voice!
Two wires are two connection points! These are two things that must be connected or put together in order to start or steal the car!
When I received the interpretation, I sensed that this was a warning, NOT to put these two points together, otherwise the car will be stolen! I looked at it from the lady who had the dream’s perspective. When I asked my wife what she sensed in the Spirit, she said that it was an encouragement from the Lord, of HOW to put the two points together, in order to start the car!
In her dream the one wire was green and the other was red! These two wire represent two seemingly opposite points in scripture that even seems opposing to one another! Green represents peace and love, while red represent flesh and human effort! The human effort of a man is his own righteousness! The righteousness of God produces PEACE in us in a very different way then righteousness according to the law does! The righteousness of Christ is produced by the price Christ has paid for every person who accepts the sacrifice and the FREE gift of God, in Christ Jesus! Righteousness produced by keeping the law, was, what was necessary, according to the Old Covenant, as was written: “For Moses writes that the man who [can] practice the righteousness (perfect conformity to God's will) which is based on the Law [with all its intricate demands] shall live by it. [Lev. 18:5]” (Rom 10:5 AMP)
This two statement seems seemingly opposite and even contradictions points! IF these points are put together in the WRONG way they will cause the plan God has to be STOLEN! IF these two points are put together in the CORRECT way they will cause the car to START!
The WRONG way of putting these two opposing wires together will be put the red one on top of the green one! If the New Testament of grace and love is looked through the Old Testament glasses, it will produce condemnation and will bring a curse! What we TRY to reach and accomplish will be lost!
BUT the CORRECT way of putting these two wires together is by putting the green upon the red! When we look at the Old Testament (The LAW) through New Testament glasses (The LOVE of God and His GRACE) God will truly accomplish the reason He has sent His Son, just as it is written: “So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free. ” (John 8:36 AMP) Therefore Jesus said: NEW wine must be poured into NEW wineskins!
Through this dream, the Holy Spirit come to lead us into ALL truth, for He is the Spirit of TRUTH that can truly SET MEN FREE! God came to reveal that we must not overemphasize the green over the red, but we MUST base the red upon the green and NOT the other way around!
Jesus taught and rebuked the scribes and the Pharisees, saying: “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, pretenders (hypocrites)! For you give a tenth of your mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected and omitted the weightier (more important) matters of the Law --right and justice and mercy and fidelity. These you ought [particularly] to have done, without neglecting the others. (Matt 23:23 AMP)
The religious teachers under the Old Covenant kept the literal law of the Word, BUT neglected the heart of the LAW, the motive WHY God had given them the law! Today the religious teachers, in hypocritical self-deception has done the direct opposite! They have accepted God’s love and grace and just continued to live in sin, without any change, under the guise that they were NOT saved by works! Thus justifying themselves, and not truly repenting of obvious and sometimes even blatant sins!
I do think that most today the scales has been completely tipped! Most today in churches, neglect the former, the LAW – holiness and righteousness) and only focus on the latter (the LOVE and GRACE – God’s Righteousness through Christ). To them Christ today would say: Keep the latter, the love and the mercy of God, without neglecting the former, the FEAR of God!
This brings the whole purpose of this dream! Many keep away from trying to keep the law, out of FEAR, that they will again fear God, see Him as a God of punishment, expecting perfect righteousness! In doing this, the standard of holiness and living a pure and uncontaminated life has been grossly compromised, to such a degree that righteousness has been used as a license to sin! This has caused the serious deterioration in the standard of living that Christians has lived! We should love the sinner, but HATE the sin! The FEAR of God has been LOST in most of the GRACE preaching churches! The total opposite has happened, it has become a FEEL GOOD gospel that does NOT deal with sin anymore! This has made the church lower its standard so that it looks JUST like the world – This is the LUKEWARM church of Laodicea! To them Jesus Christ would say:
“Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Pro. 3:12] 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me. 21 He who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant him to sit beside Me on My throne, as I Myself overcame (was victorious) and sat down beside My Father on His throne. 22 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the [Holy] Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). (Rev 3:19-22 AMP)
As I was meditating, on these things the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit started to convict me of how FAR I have fallen into an attitude of compromise! When we do not have a FEAR of God, we are not serious and tend to, if we are not yet made perfect in love, to lower the standard for ourselves and justify ourselves, even soothing our conscious that we ARE saved by GRACE! Because of this self-appointed attitude of justification of our sins, we made a new doctrine of demons: ONCE SAVED – ALWAYS SAVED! I know how you feel when you read this! I was there – I know you are motivated by LOVE and NOT by FEAR! I want to ask you and myself just ONE question, has you LOVE orientated gospel caused you to compromise on sin? Have you lowered the standard for yourself? Have you started to justify your pet sins!? I did! I have been the frog in the pot that slowly gets cooked without even making an effort to jump out of the cooking water!!! Satan has deceived many Christians in this aspect and has made it hard to distinguish between the sinner in the world and the church! This has truly blasphemed the Word of God and has made grace CHEAP!
I totally agree, that if you do not see that God loved us so much, that He gave us His own Son, to demonstrate His love for you, you will turn, in rebellion, against a harsh and faultfinding God, fearing Him and only obeying Him, because you FEAR to go to hell!!! These people also are hypocrites and do not realize that they need GRACE!
In conclusion, I will say this, if your, LOVE and GRACE, does not produce good fruit, then cut down that tree. Paul wrote to Titus: “For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind. 12 It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world,…” (Tit 2:11-12 AMP)
It is the GRACE, the goodness of God, that should compel us to live pure and holy lives, motivated by the FEAR OF GOD! This is therefore why Paul says: “Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence, but much more, because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). 13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God, Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” (Php 2:12-13 AMP) When we truly understand God’s love and the terrible price Jesus was willing to pay, then we will greatly value what God has done and have a GREAT REVERENCE for God, working out our salvation to the utmost, out of LOVE for God, driven by a GREAT FEAR of God!
