Christian: “Do you truly understand communion?”

Equipping Day 19
Would you like to be able NOT to get sick and be completely protected from ALL sicknesses and diseases? Are you afraid of getting infected by corona-viruses? Do you know that you can learn to live in a place where you can be completely UNTOUCHABLE by sicknesses and diseases?
Christian: “Do you truly understand communion?”
Paul made a statement that is totally misunderstood by the larger part of the church of Jesus Christ:
“So that whoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, he will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 1Cor 11:27 MKJV
Have you ever felt that you were or are not worthy of taking or partaking the communion, because there are a certain sin in your life? Is this really what Paul meant when he told us: “But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup.” 1Cor 11:28 MKJV We have assumed that this was what Paul meant, when He said: “For he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.” 1Cor 11:29 MKJV
What did Paul really mean, when he said: “…not discerning the Lord's body.”
The real meaning becomes clear when we realize what his next statement really means: “That is why many of you are sick and weak, and several have died.” 1Cor 11:30 MKJV
What does Paul mean, when he says: "...many are sick and weak, and several have died?”
Maybe an even more important question is: “Why would we be weak, sick and even die, because we did not recognize the meaning of the Lord's body?”
Pay close attention, Paul does not say the Lord’s body and His blood, but ONLY His body…!
A clue to the answer, is in Jesus’ own actions and words, according to Paul, the apostle: “For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, in the night in which he was betrayed, took bread; 24 And giving thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body, which is broken for you; this do in remembrance of Me." 1Cor 11:23-24 MKJV
What does the bread represent? Jesus’ own body, NOT the church. What did Jesus do with the bread? He broke it into pieces… WHY? Because this resembled how His body would be broken for YOU.
To understand the complete reason WHY many are weak and sick and have even died and the implication of this momentous statement, we must look at words of the prophet Isaiah:
“Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on Him; and with His stripes we ourselves are healed.” Isa 53:4-5 MKJV
The prophet Isaiah revealed that because of the stripes or the scourging that Jesus received: “Just as many were astonished at You (so much was the disfigurement from man, His appearance and His form from the sons of mankind)…,” that His body was so marred or disfigured that He was beyond human recognition.
As a matter of fact, when the apostle John saw Him in a vision, he said about Him: “…a Lamb stood, as if it had been slain,…” Rev 5:6 MKJV When john saw Jesus, He was portrayed as a lamb that was slain. His body was so marred by scourging that He was bruised, broken and whipped to the point to being completely broken.
Why did Jesus ALLOW Himself to be so broken? So that you can be healed! So that He could take your weaknesses and infirmities upon His own body. He dearly paid for your to be healed. Death many times comes as a result of sicknesses.
When we truly recognize the meaning of the purpose WHY the body of Jesus Christ was broken, and realize the immense LOVE that Jesus had for us, we will NOT take the communion in vain. We will truly recognize the BODY of Jesus Christ that was broken for us, and begin to live is place where NO sickness of disease or virus or even any work of the enemy will be able to touch us.
“May grace (God's favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” 2Pet 1:2
Glory to God, the Father who loves us some much that he was pleased to give us His son, Jesus Christ to not only deliver us from sin, but from every sickness and disease, even over all the works of the enemy.
