...only one thing is needed...

Prophetic Revelation Nuggets "...but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.” LUKE 10:42 AMP What was that ONE THING? Sitting at Jesus' feet... How do I really sit at Jesus' feet? The apostle Paul explains it like this in the Amplified, saying: "...Now, however, since you have come to know [the true] God [through personal experience], or rather to be known by God, how is it that you are turning back again to the weak and worthless elemental principles [of religions and philosophies], to which you want to be enslaved all over again?" GALATIANS 4:9 We do not know, until we know... When we have had a personal encounter or experience of something, then we know that we know... When we know Jesus in an experiential way, we WILL know the Father and then we will also be known by God! What does it mean to know Jesus? How hungry are you to know Jesus Christ!? How do we get to know Jesus Christ? Paul tells us HOW he did it:

"...and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]." EPHESIANS 3:19 Wow, wow, wow - Paul says we can KNOW the experience of that LOVE! When we do, we WILL be filled all the fullness of God and Jesus Christ! Paul considered only ONE THING as the absolute FIRST and ONLY thing to be grasped: "...for I made the decision to know nothing [that is, to forego philosophical or theological discussions regarding inconsequential things and opinions while] among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified [and the meaning of His redemptive, substitutionary death and His resurrection]." 1 CORINTHIANS 2:2 "...And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did];" PHILIPPIANS 3:10 Paul discovered by personal experience that there is NOTHING else that He wants and consider more important than KNOWING JESUS CHRIST EXPERIENTIAL! This what Peter said to Jesus: "We have believed and confidently trusted, and [even more] we have come to know [by personal observation and experience] that You are the Holy One of God [the Christ, the Son of the living God].” JOHN 6:69 Peter also got to that point that he knew WHO Jesus Christ is!!! We need to learn to know ONLY ONE THING - JESUS CHRIST! God came HELP us to KNOW Him. He came to reveal Himself to the world so that they could recognize and then KNOW Him! How did He do this? Let's see what Jesus Christ revealed while He was on earth? Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you for so long a time, and you do not know Me yet, Philip, nor recognize clearly who I am? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’" JOHN 14:9 Jesus came to show us the Father or rather God, our Loving Father, came to show Himself to the world, IN Jesus! They are NOT two, but ONE! God even more for us who has never seen Jesus: "...And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you. “I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, bereaved, and helpless]; I will come [back] to you. After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. On that day [when that time comes] you will know for yourselves that I am IN My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you. The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].” JOHN 14:16‭-‬21 Father, help us, that we will consider ONLY ONE THING as the first and most important thing in our lives! Father, I pray, that You will, by Your Spirit, through FAITH, help us to KNOW YOU - JESUS CHRIST! HELP us that me my EXPERIENCE you so that YOU may become REAL to us... AMEN or AMEIN - SO BE IT!
