Understanding the devil's Strategy, overcoming him, becoming the Mature New Man
We just want to thank everybody for the prayers for my son who had stomach cramps and fever. After he had been prayed for his condition improved and he has since not had stomach cramps, although he has had light fever again the next day! During that night after my son had been prayed for, I was given a dream by God. In my dream I was behind the first battle lines hiding in a ditch for protection. In the battle line were soldiers having different kinds of armor to shoot and fight the enemy with.
Some had gatling guns, some had rifles and one of them were a sniper who every now and then took out the enemy at great distance and very accurately! This sniper did not have a semi-automatic-weapon and had to hide himself from the enemy behind his own soldiers, for he was a great target for the enemy. The battle was fierce and I had to hide my head in order not to get shot!
Suddenly the enemy changed strategy and I saw how many para-bat troops were dropped from airplanes. These parashooters even shot from the sky while they were coming in. We now had to divide out attack against the enemy on the battle line and those who were being dropped from airplanes.
When the parashooters landed they were NOT clothed in soldier's clothing, they had civilian clothes on. Suddenly we were unable to distinguish between friend and foe and civilian and enemy soldier! These civilians now started making a new line of defense between us the enemy on the battle field. Each new line the civilians made they made another human shield in front of the first layer of civilians, coming closer and closer to our battle line, until they were basically standing directly in front and above us. Suddenly I realized the great danger of the enemy now standing in civilian clothing right in front of our soldiers, able to see all our strategies and weaknesses, not knowing when these civilians will unexpectedly take out a gun to shoot our soldiers.
In the next part of the dream: As the battle lines blurred, I realized that something needed to be done in order to push back the enemy from our battle line of soldiers. Suddenly a stage appeared in front of me, which made all the people around turn their attention away from one another to the stage. In a moment everybody lost focus from one another and thought of getting on the stage. Even I, who were standing right next to the stage in front of me wanted to make a jump upon the stage, since I was the closest. I would have to use all my strength to pull myself up the high stage, against which I was standing!
Suddenly, out of the crowd came another man, when I saw him I made room for him, to calm the crowds and bring order and a NEW focus. When I saw this man, I realized in my Spirit that he was a mature and rounded and even a well build man. He looked like an engineer and doctor, ALL at the same time! As soon as this MAN climbed on the stage all confusion disappeared and ALL focus was upon Him. Immediately the human shield of people who was standing up against our battle lines scattered and moved back in order to face the stage and look up at this mature man standing on the stage! I was deeply impressed by this mature man who calmed the crowed and brought focus and stability to all. Then I woke up!
The Dream Interpretation:
Afterwards, my wife gave me the interpretation of this dream: We were in a spiritual battle with the enemy, my son having stomach cramps and everything we tried proved in vain. The enemy was also trying to destroy us as a family, but those who prayed for us stood in the gap for us and with us and became the new battle line in front of us, so that we could be shielded from the full on attack against us.
In this battle line of soldiers, stepping into help defend us, were different kinds of soldiers with different kinds of weapons. Some had semi-automatic-rifles and shot in the general direction of the enemy! These were general prayers made for us! Some had gatling guns, which were very powerful and could shoot many bullets at the same time to destroy and break through the enemy’s defenses. These were people who prayed in tongues, the Holy Spirit interceding in a powerful way for many things at the same time, in order to destroy the enemies’ strategies and weaken the enemy’s defenses on many fronts.
The Snipers on the battle field
A few of the the soldiers were actually snipers, who were very accurate and could take out specific enemies in powerful positions and so take out strategic enemies on the battle line. But even this sniper soldier, who was a trained soldier who was a great asset to the war on the battlefield, but he had to keep a low profile and had to make sure that he was not detected as the sniper, otherwise he would be a target for the enemy. The sniper soldier represents the prophets and those who are able to operate in the gifts of words of knowledge and words of wisdom, and the gift of the discernment of spirits, by the Holy Spirit and has a powerful effect on the battle line to reveal the enemies’ weaknesses and to find and destroy key targets to strategically destroy the enemies’ soldiers. The Holy Spirit in His great love and wisdom, God Himself, being our Mighty Warrior, who has given us mighty weapons for the pulling down of strongholds, showed how these kind of soldiers must also remain hidden and must be protected by their own soldiers.
I believe I am called as such a kind of soldier on the battle line. Having being trained to be sensitive to the Spirit of God, the gift of prophecy, words of knowledge and discernment operating in me, I have to know that I will be a specific target for the enemy and that even I have to be protected on the battle lines during the war. People tend to overlook the fact that even the prophets of God are specific targets with specific weaknesses. Although they can be highly effective at strategically taking out the enemy, they have to rest and also be protected.
Satan changes his line of attack
But Satan is a roaring lion full of cunning and deceit. When one strategy seems to not work he will change his line and strategy of attack. Satan is the power and the spirit of the air who attacks out of high places through principalities and powers.
When Satan is unable to win the battle by playing fair, he will try and do it by playing unfair and dirty. He will set up a new line of defense and use civilians as a human shields in order to hide behind them. Satan does NOT want us to realize that he actually sits behind certain spiritual attacks against us, for our battle is not earthly, but spiritual. Then he changes the scene and uses other humans to fight his dirty battles for him. Some brothers, even among us, who are still worldly and are still unaware of Satan's evil schemes and strategies, due to their ignorance and lack of identity start to become subtle agents used by the enemy, now becoming a human shield, through which he fights on a new front!
He would set up different layers of human resistance and circumstances, caused by humans to hide behind and even persecute their own brothers. Sometimes unexpectedly, Satan used our weaknesses to fight against one another – brother against brother! Satan works through all levels of society to resist the plans of God and His kingdom, so that men would NOT get a full understanding and realization of who the real enemy is. On every level of society he comes closer and closer to our battle line so that he even try to blur the battle line, bringing the enemy right to our door step, even among our own family and loved ones.
Through this dream God wanted us to realize the capabilities and weapons we have been given in this spiritual battle and what to be on the look out for because the enemy is cunning and very crafty and does NOT fight clean. He fight dirty and can NEVER be trusted. We need all the functions if the body of Christ is to function properly and we must also know how to allow them to destroy the enemy in our lives, for our protection. We must also not be unaware of the weaknesses for each of these so-called imperfect gifts, which each one has a specific function and must be used with wisdom, accordingly.
God also wants us to know that although Satan’s battle is not between flesh and blood and that Satan does use flesh and blood to make a human shield for himself to hide behind, we must not be unaware of false or ignorant or even weak brothers who could unexpectedly be offended and react in an ungodly and worldly, immature manner towards us and one another.
The last and maybe the most scary of Satan’s tactics is that he often uses those the closest to us to hurt us the most and to try and blur the battle lines, making it especially hard to distinguish between friend and foe and between who’s wrong and who’s right? Satan is NOT our friend and is NOT a play mate, but is a brutal ruthless thug that will go to every extreme to try and kill, steal and destroy the perfect, flawless plan of life which God, because of His love, in Christ, has paid for and provided for us.
Our Role and Responsibility to cover our brothers in prayer
Let us learn to cover one another and even understand our specific role as a soldier of LOVE in God’s army to protect our brothers and sisters. Let us NOT think that those who are seemingly more trained or even spiritually gifted are better and more important than any other soldier on the battle line. They need to cover themselves and must realize they are especially targets of Satan. They must not think they are something and fall into the trap of pride, which was Satan’s down fall. Let us cover our leaders in prayer!
The Religious stage of Fame and Recognition
Satan has another very cunning and dangerous strategy that awaits those who start to grow strong in battle and have overcome the enemy on every level of society! In my dream a stage appeared. This stage represents the stage of position rather then function in the body of Christ! When one grows up spiritually, people start to lift people up on a pedestal or they start to get onto the stage to be seen by men! Now they become a public figures and are seen on the religious stage! Satan desires to build up those who have grown and even excelled beyond their contemporaries, given for themselves a place and position of honor and power so that they would have authority in the eyes of men. Many of those who reach this stage of the road in the battle feels they are justified to climb on the stage and take the authority and power of leading others to Christ as an example and as leaders of the people. This an especially dangerous place to find one self in, for one MUST test their motives for climbing on the stage of fame and popularity.
The people who are especially prone to this great danger are the gifts – the apostles, prophets, evangelist, teacher and pastors - whom God had given to the body of Christ, for the building up of the body, helping it to grow up into maturity in Christ and into the fullness of Christ Jesus! We must learn to rather be covered by our brothers in Christ knowing our own weaknesses, strengthens and purpose or specific function in the body of Christ. We must not come out into the lime light to be seen by men and be recognized and become a target for Satan and his soldiers.
Many do not realize it, but they have actually done everything in their power to reach this stage in their lives to be recognized. They would deny it, but God knows their hearts. These who want recognition, when opportunity arise, would quickly set up a ministry or denomination with a name to stand out and be recognized! They want to climb even on the world stage of religion to make a name for themselves. Many new ministries, each having its own name and specialized functions wants recognition and start to operate under a banner of the calling God had given them. These men and women are not, NOT called by God. They are also not, NOT given a specific calling and function, but they do not realize that they walk straight into, what now seems innocent and even necessary to reach the stage, in the eyes of everybody and for the sake of governmental and economically reasons, as an excuse! Without knowing it they have made every effort to climb on the stage, some even at the cost of other people’s money, stepping and walking over one another to get to the top!
In my dream I was also tempted to get onto the stage, with the excuse that then I would be able to change things and restore the church of Jesus Christ from above the people, from the world stage of religion. I was actually about to pull myself up the stage that was right in front of me, was it not for the mature man who came walking out of the crowds and in great maturity and stability ascended the stage! Jesus told us that in the last days, even the elect will be deceived if that was possible! For he said that at that time many will come and say: “I am he!” And: “I am the anointed one!”
Many powerful men and woman are now arising in the world stage of Christian religion and show great wonders to the great amazement and wonder of many, in order to impress and bedazzle many with the free gift they were given by God. These are truly men and women of God, they are those among us and could even be ourselves, who might think NOW is the time to climb upon the stage and be recognized by many! Thus, without knowing it, start to glorify themselves and say: “I am the anointed one!” In doing this, they, the elect of God, chosen to help the body of Christ to grow up into maturity will be deceived into positions of power and fame.
The Mature Man
But the great news about this dream is what God, in His great wisdom, is about to bring come forth out of the crowd and even from among all this perversion and all these evil strategies, which Satan is using to discredit the true body and church of Jesus Christ.
I believe even though this is a spiritual dream, having a spiritual revelation, to first of all personally warn me, this is also a prophetic dream from the Holy Spirit, to prepare me and the body of Christ, because I am a sniper who have a specific purpose and function to reveal and warn about the plans of the enemy, which is rife in the church of Jesus Christ and even takes out some of the enemies strategies, trying to deceive EVEN the elect of God!
From among our own brothers God will raise up a prophet for you, to Him you must listen! That which God, in Christ, in us has done, has a fine line between deception and The Truth! Moses referred to the One whom God had raised up, even from among His own brothers – Jesus Christ!
Bringing many mature sons to glory
God’s purpose was not to only raise up His Son, but to bring many sons to glory! He did not want only One Anointed One, but wanted many anointed ones who were all ONE in Christ Jesus, the Son of God. Thus God’s plan and purpose was to raise up sons of God, who would operate as sons of God, just like Jesus Christ was THE Son of God! These are they who now arise on the scene as mighty men and women of God, living in the authority and power of God, through the FREE gift of righteousness which was ONLY attained through Jesus Christ! They have been made the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, in Christ! They CAN now also operate and do what Jesus has done and EVEN more than Jesus has done! God has NOT given His Spirit in measure and without limit! These are now arising as powerful men and women of God and many are following after one man over again another, their eyes focused upon these anointed ones of God!
Unfortunately, even Satan knows the hearts and motives of men, whether they are pure and built upon the love of God for them and not upon a desire for approval and recognition, creating their identity upon a ministry and a calling, which actually is FROM God, who give without prerequisite! These are about to fall into a trap and a great falling away is taken place as their hearts are sifted and exposed before God and men, to the advantage of Satan and his evil strategy’s.
But even from among ALL this chaos and deception and confusion, from among our own brother, God is arising up a MATURE MAN in Christ. When I saw this man I knew he was an Apostle and a prophet and a spiritual FATHER, with great maturity to many. This NEW MAN is the true mature man that was God’s purpose and also the reason God had sent us gifts to help us mature in Christ, so that we could ALL grow up into the complete, full mature, experiential knowledge of God the Son of God, motivated and rooted in and by the LOVE of God for His people and for the lost!
Put you Eyes upon Jesus
In this dream God, by the Holy Spirit gave me simple strategy to overcome the enemy’s subtle deceitfulness and the desire for fame and recognition – PUT YOU EYES ONLY UPON JESUS CHRIST, and humble yourself UNTIL He lifts you up into true maturity as sons of the living God!
In this generation, God is once again about to reach the complete and full purpose why His Son Jesus Christ died on the cross to NOT only justify us, but to ALSO glorify us, and lift us into our position as loved sons of God, seated with Christ Jesus upon His throne, able to rule and reign over our enemies, making them a footstool for our feet! In all this God uses what Satan intended for our destruction to raise up and mature us through all these trails and tests we have to endure in order to purify our motive and come forth as pure gold refined in the furnace Satan had put us through! In God’s great wisdom, just like Satan thought, he would use the religious leaders of the time, the human shield, to kill Jesus Christ, God worked the very act for our salvation and to His Glory, so that He could bring many sons to glory!
NOW the restoration of ALL things are at hand, with the climax of the ages being upon us, the sons of God, like Christ Jesus, knowing they are loved and operating out of His love for them, remaining humble, will be revealed, to help set free and bring the world and even the church of Jesus Christ into its glorious freedom, setting it free from corruption and frustration to the GLORY OF GOD, IN CHRIST JESUS!
Glory to God, in Christ, who in His loved, wanted to reveal this to HIS church, so that IT could fulfill its calling and so that could it could be the many faceted, manifested Glory of God upon the earth, before Jesus Christ is revealed in the heavens!
