I was invited to a cell group meeting on Thursday! After we watched a short, powerful video called: “If God is unresponsive or seems to be late sometime we had a great discussion about not being influenced by our circumstances, thinking God does not love us when He seems late or not answering our prayers.

 

I turned the answer around and explain why Christians do not get their prayers answered due to mixing LAW and GRACE, as the apostle Paul asked: “Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?” I also explained how we must not begin with faith and end in performance, trying to attain our righteousness by human effort, as was written: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith." (Rom 1:16-17 ESV)

 

Then I asked the million dollar question? How do we NOT begin to live by human effort again, but live by the Spirit? I continued to explain that we must become slaves of righteousness, living in a STATE of righteousness! I shared how the Spirit was poured out upon a group of 15 people in Sept 2012, like a mighty rushing wind! I shared a few short testimonies of how people have been healed and that is NOT by our own righteousness, but by WHAT JESUS had done!

 

Then a young lady suggested that we put into practice what I had just shared! She asked me to pray for her son who has had extema! What followed after this question was nothing less than miraculous…!

 

Paul told the Corinthian Church: “And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4  and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5  so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” (1Co 2:1-5 ESV)

 

As I layed my hands upon her son the Spirit of God came upon me and filled with the Spirit I prayed as the Spirit led me, commanding the spirit of fear to leave her son! Then the Spirit started to prophecy to this little boy. Then the lady asked me to pray for her other son! The Spirit’s Presence started to powerfully fill the room with faith and love and prophecies through me to her other son.  Then Revival broke out in the small congregation of about 16-20 adults and children! The Spirit of God came heavily upon me and prophesied, prayed and set free and encouraged everybody, adults and children, revealing things that only they knew, helping them to not only get free, but also to see God’s plan and destiny for them!

Everybody was greatly encouraged, especially those who have never had such an encounter with the Spirit of the Living God! I felt like I was taken right back to the book of ACTS and saw the Spirit of God came upon people, who got baptized with the Spirit and with power!

 

All glory to God, IN Christ Jesus, who Is the same yesterday, TODAY and has NEVER changed! All praise and glory to God in His church forevever and ever! Amen!
