I just shared the gospel of the good news with a man! I was busy praying and spending time with Jesus when I saw a man come walking down the path in the park. We have a beautiful park where I can walk and pray!

When I saw him from afar I have a strong sense in my spirit that he is going to be a mighty man of God! I boldly walked up to Nicole! As I greeted him I greeted him according to what I saw about him in the Spirit! I saw the Lord plan and purpose for this man in such a powerful way that only later, after I found out a little more about him, I realize that he was not yet there! I saw him the way Jesus was seeing Him: Loved, called, forgiven, saved, justified, glorified and sent! In a very natural way I started to demonstrate the kingdom of God upon me!

 

As I greeted him, the Spirit of God clearly came upon him. I could see the Presence of Jesus had already deeply touched him just through my greeting! Afterwards I only needed to explain to him what he had just experienced!

As we spoke the Spirit led me to begin explaining the gospel from a totally different angle. We must be open to be led by the Spirit and the ‘sense’ we get when we speak to a person! Trust the Spirit of God in you!

 

After I had shared and related with him. I started to receive specific words of knowledge about his life, just like Jesus did for the woman at the well!

The gospel awakened faith in his heart and He was set free from guilt and separation in his heart that made him hostile to God and religion! The man completely opened up. Like a master sales man – I sold him the most FREE and most precious gift of the truth and the Spirit of Jesus Christ! As I spoke the man started to experience the Spirit of God in many ways, God confirming His Word through ‘signs’!

 
I told him about baptism and found out that he might have been baptized in obedience, but without understanding! Then, before I left, I prayed for him, and laid hands upon him and the Spirit of God came upon him powerfully, like electricity and rushed through his body as he was being baptized by the Spirit of God and Fire! Again the Spirit gave me more words for his specific situation and needs. The man was overwhelmed with joy and amazement and wanted us to stay in contact.

 

Then I felt he was ready to even receive the gift of tongues. As I prayed in tongues, I told him that God wanted to give him his own heavenly language! As I prayed in tongues in my language, the Spirit came not only upon him, but suddenly a fire, started on the inside of him, as he, by faith, started to speak in tongues! He spoke from deep within his heart and the words flowed out of his inmost being!

Glory to God! What a privilege we have to be disciples and to preach, demonstrate and share the gospel with those who are hungry for more of Jesus!
